WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THE CABIN KINGS THESE DAYS?

The Cabin Kings spent the summer and early fall of 2014 filming season two of "Building Wild" and creating wild custom cabins for landowners in southern Vermont and eastern New York. They're now taking some well-deserved time off, and are looking forward to their next round of backwoods adventures in 2015.

 

WHEN WILL YOU BE BACK ON THE AIR? WHEN DOES SEASON TWO START?

Tuesday February 24th at 9PM EST!

 

I WANT TO HIRE THE CABIN KINGS. HOW DO I GO ABOUT IT?

Click here and read our rules and regulations, then complete the application. Please note that we won't start choosing our next round of build projects until 2015, so if we don't respond to your application right away, it's not because we don't value you as a viewer or potential client.

 

WHAT DOES A CABIN COST?

Each cabin is different, and the Cabin Kings don't have a set price list for their builds, though clients in the 2015 build season should be prepared to pay a minimum of $50,000. The more complex your cabin dream, the more expensive the build. The Cabin Kings definitely take into consideration the amount of donated or repurposed materials each landowner is able to provide, along with the size of their volunteer work force. 

 

WHEN WILL YOU BE BUILDING IN MY STATE?

Short answer: We don't know. Longer answer: For a number of logistical reasons, each season, the Cabin Kings build cabins within a short driving distance of each other. As soon as we know where we'll be concentrating our efforts in 2015, we'll let everyone know here, and start responding to people who have completed our application from the chosen area.

Yes.

That's not really a question, but in case you're wondering why: Because it's awesome! And beautiful! And the people there have been fabulous to us. Also, Tuffy likes sleeping in his own bed and everyone likes eating at Jean's Place.
